PEC Zwolle has been the surprise of the season, before the start of the season touted as relegation candidate number one; the club from Zwolle is currently positioned 15th in the league. Although losing last week against FC Groningen, Art Langeler’s side has proven to be able to beat big teams in head-to-head confrontations. The most recent victory was against Feyenoord on 17 February, 13. It is not a surprise that PSV will approach this game with cautious as the last meeting against the two teams, ended in a victory for PEC Zwolle (1-3). The most dangerous players are Denni Avdic and Fred Benson, whilst the former shows that he is a clinical striker, netting 7 league goals in 15 games.
PSV Eindhoven will be shaken after their lost against Feyenoord last weekend. However with the comeback of captain Mark van Bommel and regular right back Atiba Hutchinson, Dick Advocaat is able to line-up a much stronger team than against Feyenoord. Even though PSV is missing their striker Jeremain Lens due to suspension.
PSV have to prove theirselves again, firstly against last week’s horrific lost versus Feyenoord and secondly the shameful defeat against PEC Zwolle (1-3) in the Eredivisie. Fact remains that the club from Eindhoven have a better squad and is fired up, ready to show their best side. But are they able to cope with the pressure?
